Global Environment Facility (GEF)

FRC project for the indigenisation and popularisation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in St. Lucia. The project, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), aimed to translate the SDGs to the local language, Kwéyòl, and the local context, and popularise them in order to promote efforts towards sustainable development.  The processes involved in engaging various communities and community members in the translation of the SDGs. The content produced over the course of the project  included videos, posters, and descriptions of the SDGs produced in Kwéyòl by participants.
